Hey everyone, I finished a book a while back it was called the Absence of Nectar. It was a good book but it was kind of violent and it had alot of bad language so I wouldn't reccomend it to any one who is offended by that kind of stuff. The book was really quite depressing, it delt with child abuse, children running away from home, and with a desperate mother trying to escape from the clinched fists of her horrid new husband. This book taught me that you shouldn't jump into anything, but you should think things over a time or two before you act on something. I also really saw the effects of how parents can effect their children in positive and negative ways. So even though I wasn't into the language that was used in this book it had some good life lessons.
PS I used this blue font and the picture of the rainy day to kind of reflect on the depressing mood of the book.
