Childhood Memories

Well since this week we have been talking about our childhood memories I have found that I miss them more than I thought. When we did the drawing of where we used to play and go to in our most remembered neighborhood I drew a picture of my neighborhood with our pool. When I was little during the summer all the kids used to go the pool. It was so fun. There was a ditch and a pond right by the pool, well in the pond there where alot of frogs the boys used to get the fogs out of the water and throw them at use. This used to make the girls grossed out. Also by the pool there was a big hill! During the winter we used to sled down the hill. We used to also gather all the kids in the neighborhood up and play capture the flag in the snow. When I was reading TKAM I related this to Jem and Scout's playing and adventures. I would love to go back and be a little kid again and see how fun it was.

Hey I just posted on how the book got me hooked on my childhood memories too. I found that it was a really good inspiration for the rough draft. So if you can't think of anything to write about you can try to connect your life to To Kill a Mockingbird.
