Ms. James told us to go to this Library of Congress website and we were supposed to find a picture that we thought described the time period of To Kill A Mockingbird. And I found this picture and thought it described the time period very well because the man has torn clothing and looks like he is just sitting there and has nothing to do and no where to go. We were supposed to think of a question or two that we would ask the person if we were to actually meet this person today. I thought this assignment was really fun and it was cool to see pictures from back in the time of our book.

I thought it was a good assignment as well!!I got to look into the past!Most people thought that things they did were veryu important and today we would think what they did was nothing compared to what we do today.
