When I read To Kill a Mockingbird I read that the Radley house is all run down and beet up. I think of old worn out boards that are starting to fall off the house. I think that it has a barb wire fence and has a big tree in the back yard. The doors that are breaking the windows that are boarded up and the stairs outside that look like they creek. I think that the yard might have old farm machinery around it and cement blocks holding the house up so that it does not cave in. I see the Radley house having a big field behind it with trees and long pasture grass that grows wildly. I see the Radley house fence having a man made gate that has broken boards on it just like the rest of the house. Unlike the pasture that I picture behind the house I picture the yard just having patches of grass. I envision the house having a tin roof because it was cheap. This photograph is very close to what I picture in the Radley house and it helps me envision it even better. This photo was taken by Lee Russel in September 1938.

I imagine the house as being very scary and dreadful looking!
I picture the house looking old but very creepy and when ever you walk past it you get the chills because it is dead silent and not even the birds are chirping.I wonder what the house looked like when it was new.Boo should fix it up in the end of the book or he should make friends and everyone helps out to make the house look good.
