After starting to read William Shakespeare's "The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet," I can already tell that I will not enjoy the book. I am not trying to contradict anyone and I am not trying to say that Shakespeare's works are not good, this play is just not my type so to say. I also find it interesting that we are going from such a radical change in literature. It is difficult to go straight from reading the Southern dialect used in "To Kill A Mockingbird" and then switch right to the proper old English used in "Romeo and Juliet." I only hope that I am wrong that the play will only get better as it goes on.

i strongly agree with you that "The Tradgedy of Romeo and Juniet" doesn't seem like the most fun thing to read. Mainly because to understand it you have to read it like 3 times and then read the interpretations on it. And also, it's a little weird going from the un-educated launguage of the south, to the proper old english. GOOD BLOG!
I totally agree. It is a huge change between the two pieces of literature. I also, don't feel as i'm going to enjoy it. I hope I am proved wronge.
