The Shakespearean insults we were given today in class I found really funny. Imagining that words such as "dewberry" or "common-kisser" could make a man so angry as which to possibly fight to the death. In my mind I can just picture two frilly haired guys in fancy clothes calling each other names we don't even acknowledge in today's slang, and getting furious about it. To be completely honest, I am not looking foward to reading "Romeo and Juliet" at all. It seems extremely boring and an old English love play does not grab my attention at all. Also the language used is going to drive me insane because I hate it when people talk in the fine old English language used in those times because it seems very pompous and cocky (not to mention extremely annoying) Anyone else feel the same way as I do?
