Two days ago we took the test for "To Kill a Mockingbird!" It was a good test I thought and I was well prepared for it because we went over the book the day before! I hope I get a good grade!! There was only one question that stumped me for a while...it was the question that asked whether the author, Harper Lee thought if law enforcement should interpret the law or only follow it? It stumped me at first because I thought that I was suppose to put my own opinion and not hers but then I figured it out! I figured out that it could go either way you just have to find an example for it. I said that she thought that interpreting the law was bad because in the trial of Tom Robinson, Heck Tate turned his back to the fact that people were not treating Tom as an equal, which the law says all men are equal! Instead they treated like a piece of dirt and because Heck Tate ignored it Tom Robinson lost the case before they even started it just because he was black and the man, Bob Ewell was white and so he had the favor even if he did blame Tom for rapping his daughter! The sad thing is that Bob is the one that beat her because she tried to make a move on Tom! (I did not like how that turned out!!) I wrote that on my test because I really thought that is what she meant by putting this scene in the book!!

I agree with you and I personally felt the test was pretty difficult especially because it was essential to have a lengthy answer! Even though I was prepared, I still felt it was quite difficult.
I thought that the test was easy but long. Some parts were challenging though because we had to put ourselves in the authors shoes. Overall I thought it had good questions on it.
I didn't like how much writing was involved in the answers. I wish there were only a couple of those. Overall I don't think it was that bad.
