What is Love?

This past week, we started "Romeo and Juliet," and I have to say that I was so confused. Shakespeare's use of words were so confusing, but I believe that they were very meaningful and thoughtful. He described Romeo's love as depressing and sad. Right now, like what Ms. James had said, it seems like Romeo doesn't have the deep and meaningful love that he thinks he has. I don't think he's learned what true love is. I can't wait to read about the love that grows between Romeo and Juliet and the passion that goes with it.

Yea I don't really understand Romeo and Juliet right now either. By like yourself, I am excited to read it. You always hear people talking about how Romeo and Juliet is a true love story and I want to see what all the fuss is about!

I have just finished reading Act I Scene I on No Fear Shakespeare, and that REALLY helped. I felt like the true Romeo & Juliet was some foreign language, but the site really translated it perfectly. I was amazed by how much more I comprhended the story. You should try it, it's a life saver!! =)
