I really don't know much about William Shakespeare other than the fact that he wrote Romeo and Juliet. I was interested in learning more about him so I found this really interesting website. Did you know that Shakespeare wrote 37 plays! I didn't. Here are some other fun facts about Shakespeare.
- He also wrote about suicide in 13 times in his plays, including in Romeo and Juliet.
- At Google there are 15 MILLION pages referring to him.
- Many people don't know that Shakespeare was also an actor!
- He was 52 years old when he passed away.

I didn't know anyhthing about him either until I researched him. He was an interesting person who wrote about some interesting things in his time period. I am excited to start reading his work.
Wow! I'm surprised that he was an actor, especially since historians question his very existence, and wander if hisname was just a pen name. Iguessyoulearn something everdday! =)
