The Notebook is about a man name noah and a girl named Allie.They spent a summer together in New Burn,NC when they were 15.Allie had to then move away due to her fathers job.All Noah could ever think about was her, several years past and Noah re-constructed a house for her.Allie is Noah's ghost.Allie sees the house in the paper and goes to visit him.As she drove into town all those memories of the summer with Noah came flooding back.She has no idea why she is there,but the only thing she wants to tell him is that she is engadged to another man.This is a great book so far and the author is amazing.I would recomend this book to all people who want a story about true love!

I love this story! Even though I've only seen the movie, but I would love to read the book also! My grandmother and grandfather, met like Ali and Noah! Like perfectly the same! They were walking with their friends at a fair, and they were introduced to each other by their friends, and went on mini dates ever sence then! My grandma says it was love at first site! =] I think that is just to cute!
