To Kill A Mockingbird

So Ms. James asked us to go to this website to see all of these pictures from the time that the book To Kill A Mockingbird was in. Some of the pictures were so sad! I picked this picture to show because it really captures how children had to live during that time. It reminds me of how the Finch children were living. I loved how they were making up games in their backyard to keep them entertained. In fact it reminded me of when I was little because I used to do the same thing with my friends. We used to play house or bad people catching good people.

I didn't know what to think the first time I picked up To Kill A Mockingbird! I began reading it the day we received it and I had to make myself put it down. I am actually quite interested to see what will happen later on in the book. I am having to eat my words though because I had said that I really didn't want to read this book and now I am wanting to. I don't think that I am the only one that has done this though. I think a lot of us really didn't want to read this book and now it is kind of entertaining us.
