So what did everybody think about the chapters about the trial? I was so upset that the Maycomb people couldn't make the right decision because they are so racist. I felt sorry for Atticus that his people of Maycomb let him down. You can tell from just hearing the testify that Tom Robinson gave that he is not guilty. When Mayella was talking I could tell that she was holding something back and didn't want to share. I believe that there is something else there and it will hopefully eventually come out into the open. I was really upset at the Maycomb people though that they found that Tom Robinson was guilty. I thought it was really neat that Jem, Scout, and Dill sat with the Reverend up in the balcony where the colored people had to sit. It showed that people are all equal even though the city doesn't think that. You would never see this going on in a courtroom today. It makes me really sad how people do not think that everyone is equal. I would not make it very long in that time period because I would probably get myself killed with what all I would say to the white people to tell them how everyone should be treated equal. I will be anxious to see what will happen next and see what happens to everyone that was involved with the trial.

I was also disappointed with the results of the trail.I know tom didn't do it.I think that Mayells knew she could get away with it so she did it,and I agree somthing sounded fishy with her testimony.I'm kind of wondering what will happen to Boo Radley we haven't heard about him in a while.
I am really getting sad because I keep on commenting on the unjustice in the trial. I get mad at all the people in the trial who lied and got awaqy with it because they shouldn't be able to do that. I don't think that Mayella knows how to make a friend.
