Turning Out Well!
As you all know the new book that we started this week was called "To Kill A Mocking Bird." I had heard many different things about it and was nervous that I would not like it, but so far it is pretty interesting. The story line about "Boo" Radley is really interesting but I found it very strange that he stabbed his own father in the thigh with a pair of scissors and did not even feel bad about it afterwards. When I was a very young child I couldn't sit still and I always had to be moving and if I had to be locked up in a house for half my life like "Boo" had been, I would go insane! I would NOT be able to handle one bit of it. I would have to much curiosity about the outside world and I would want to explore! I wonder how "Boo" has felt for the last half of his life just having to stay inside with his parents? I feel bad for him and I feel that it is partly his parents fault that he ended up the way that everyone says he did. I really hope that in the end everything turns out in a happily ever after scene...I like those types of books. I also hoped that everyone else has enjoyed the book as much as I have! Well I am going to go read some more to see what happens next! -Boot
