God's True Masterpiece

The gigantic foaming waves knock against the shore with a maximizing force.

Slowly they creep up capturing more sand and shells each time they make their voyage.

I feel the scratchy unwanted sea weed brush my leg.

Whining in the distance, I hear sea gulls,

Searching eagerly for a fish to snatch in their beaks and satisfy their grumbling stomachs.

Sand, as soft as silk, wrestles between my toes.

I hunt patiently for sea shells hidden underneath the thousands of tiny grains.

As I look out into the blue water, as clear as crystal, it seems to go on for eternity.

I notice the gorgeous sunset being painted across the vast pink and orange sky.

A sailboat glides across the blanket of blueness coming closer and closer.

I feel completely at home.

I can't help but wonder why I ever have to leave here.

How I wish I could stay here forever and gaze into nature's beauty.

If only my life was like the ocean

This reminds me of the many vacations my family has taken to the beach. I love jogging along the waters edge and looking at all the beautiful creations.
