Azure

This is my poem...

Azure

The lukewarm water invites me into the realm of the sea
where my eyes see things that most men only dream of
the tropical creatures whose home I am the guest
swirl around me in a whirlwind of bliss
My eyes seem to dart to an unorthodox item
Below me lays the azure goddess of the sea
Broken feet, a sign of displacement
The apparent aftermath of the recent tempest
Her pose of seduction seems to lure me in
The bait on the hook
My hand gently brushing
the smooth statue stone
sends the message that God sent her here
the guardian of the reef
forevermore

I love your allusion! This makes me think of scubadiving in a beautiful ocean. This connects me to my past vacations in Mexico on the Island of Mooharas.
