Free Reading

I have been reading my Bible. I am reading about David in his old age. I could really tell that he was a man of God because David was not angry or jelous when the prophets told him that his son Solomon would be even greater than him as his preceeding king. Solomon became king and he was so great that God came to him and told him that he had been a great king and Solomon would be given whatever he asked for from God. Solomon asked for wisdom to riegn over God's kingdom the way God would want. This pleased the Lord so the Lord gave him wisdom, riches, and honor. Solomon shows us how he puts his new gifts in use when two women come to him. They are arguing over who a baby belongs to. One baby died in the night and each woman claims the living child for herself. Soloman asks for his sword. He tells them that he is going to cut the baby in half and give one half to each woman. The first woman says no just let her have the child and the second woman says go ahead and cut the baby in half, if I can't have it no one can. Solomon gives the baby to the first woman because he knows a true mother has compassion and would rather give up her child that see it dead. The next book I will be reading of the Bible is Song of Songs. This is about love and purity and staying pure until marrige. This reminds me of Romeo and Juliet. This book inspired me to wear a purity ring.

I think it is totally awesome that you are reading your Bible as your free reading book! I love to just lay down on the floor and read my Bible for hours. I wear a purity ring too! I think that it is a really neat idea and I enjoy knowing that I will stay pure until I am married.
