So I finished reading two of the Alias books. One was Father Figure and the other was Free Fall. In Father Figure, Sydney's dad visits and their relationship is a total mess. Sydney is in the CIA, but what she doesn't realize is that her dad is also in the CIA. She is going undercover to retrieve a disk with incriminating information, but at the same time, she discovers that Wilson, her recruiter, is supposedly on the "bad side," and she gets him kicked out of the field. She was really bummed because she saw Wilson as a close friend.
In Free Fall, Sydney goes to Canada to enhance her study of different languages, but she's also on a mission to retrieve papers that were nearly 50 years old. But she soon finds out that she has another unexpected mission. An agent, whose not really an agent, is undercover and he plots to steal information and kill someone. It has so much suspense in it, you'd have to read it for yourself. Sydney is gradually learning that she has to be careful who she trusts because in this business, you can hardly trust anyone.
