Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!! I am not lookig forward to going back to school tomorrow!! Only like 22 more days!! I had quite a busy weekend with reahearsals and a show in Branson!!! It was all a blast!! I am getting ready to perform another show with American Kids at Silver Dollar City that will every weekend of the summer starting June 9th!! Our show is all about roads and is full of lots of banjo pickin' bluegrass music!! I can't wait to start learning choreography!! I wanted to tell you all a little bit about American Kids in case you didn't know because I sure talk about it a lot. It is a non-profit, christianed based organization that is all across America. It is headquartered in Branson today and it gives kids the oppurtunity, ages 3-18, to perform at churches, festivals, fairs, military reunions, and of course Silver Dollar City. It was created to help kids overcome their fears by being onstage and build confidence to make them bigger and better leaders in their communities. So if you love to sing, dance, act, or play an instrument American Kids might be a great organization for you to. It also establishes a great peer group of other people your age who love to do the same things you do. American Kids is pretty much my life. I am down in Branson almost every weekend doing something and I love every minute of it. So if you get a chance, come and out and see me at Silver Dollar City this summer!! I love to see people out in the audience I know!!!
So what has everyone been thinking about Romeo and Juliet lately?? I personally think they took things way to fast and should have never ran off and got married especially at thier young age. I am really surprised that the nurse even let Juliet run off and get married like that. Doesn't she know that she was going to marry the Capulet's worst enemies son??? The friar's advice was relly good if only Romeo would have listened. I am really ready for some action to heat up and the story to move on. The movies have really helped me to understand things a lot more especially the new one even though I don't like the modern time period. They seem to simplify the text and make it a lot easier to understand. I am looking forward to reading more as the week goes on. See everyone tomorrow!!
