Cinder
As I linger inside and feel the warmth all around me, I smell molasses cookies in the air.
I sit on the itchy carpet floor playing with my new prized possession.
I look at him from under the tree as he stares back at me with his bulging eyes that look like they are going to pop like balloons.
As he lays under the tree he gazes up at it.
I know he thinks it is his new toy.
The bright lights and decorations are sure to provoke him.
Soon enough he climbs all the way to the top of the christmas tower and then plummets to the ground.
I think he learned from that mistake.
After being wild, he soon becomes my cool colective cat.
hecomes and says hello.
As I pet his thick black fur I can't help snagging a few hairs in my mouth.
Even though he was born on Halloween, I am sure he loves Christmas just as much.
What a great holiday season it was.
There will be many more to come!
