"The Scottsboro Boys" Trials

"The Scottsboro Boys" Trials in ways reminds me of the trial in To Kill A Mockingbird. Both trials involve alleged rape and the accused rapist's in both cases were African American boys, which was a huge deal at the time because of segregation and the hatred of African american people in the South, until the work of Martin Luther King. I think this is a very good obsevation and you can really relate the "Scottsboro Boys" trials to the "Tom Robinson" trial for the fact that they were both found guilty in the verdict. Were all the boys in the photo found guilty, I mean were all of them accused of rape?

Eight of the Nine boys were found guilty of rape and they were put to death.
