I believe that the trial in To Kill a Mockingbird had a horrible ending to it!!!! I thought that maybe just one time a black man could win the trial. But I guess not! I cannot believe what the world was like. How come people were so stupid back then when it came to black and white. I wish more people were like Atticus. Because Atticus sees no difference between black and white in other words you could say he is colorblind. The fact that it was so obviouse that Tom was innocent makes me upset and angry, it is not fair he was accused of such a crime. Now he has to spend his life in prison. What did you guys think about the trial? Do you think it was wrong?

A black man with money can win a trial, just not a poor dude with one arm.
I agree the trail was wrong!He was innocent in my eyes and he got squished.This trail was very real though because it was probably what happened at that time.
When Blondec8 said squished a picture of a bug in my mind being smashed by a foot comes into my mind. I think that Tom was like a bug and no matter how hard they tried to win back then he would end up smooshed.
