The trial

I thought that the trial is where the story has really pick up to speed. I like this picture because it shows the division that was in the town. I am not saying that this is good in any way at all! But as I was reading about the trial I did realize that the African-Americans had to sit in a different balcony that the white people I thought that that was very weird. Even though the trial was a case conserning a black man. I don't know if any one else found it interesting. But I did!

I agree with you. The trial was intresting and how blacks and white were seperated. I think this town is really racist. People should be treated equally, no matter what color they are.

This is a really good picture depickting that scene! In the book I was kind of sad for the black people who gave up their seats for Jem and Scout in the first row.I bet they were really excited about sitting there then all of a sudden they have to move because it was the proper thing to do.I hope Tom makes it out of the trail alive but I know he has slim chances due to rasicm.

I hope he makes it out alive too I have been thinking that Atticus is a good enough lawer that it might be possible that Tom wins, but you can never really know when people are racist.
