Harper Lee

Did Harper Lee keep diary entries of her life? I think she had to keep some documentation of it, to be able to remember all of these details because didn't Ms. James say it was based on Harper Lee's childhood? I think it would be amazing if people could have that good of memories. I remember bits and pieces like flashbacks from the younger part of my childhood, but I certainly do not remember as many events as Harper Lee describes in her book. I assume that she would of had to keep some sort of diary entries to recall all of these events.
