In class today we where talking about how the town's people where all different. Miss James little baby is so cute! She does look like a southern bell. I can just picture all the lady's with the hats and dresses. It would be fun to have the class dress up like all the characters. (Just thinking) Are group today talked about how when every one was going to the trial there where some people that people didn't even know. Some people didn't even know what the trial was about! Like people where coming out of the wood works. It was also weird how they said the people that where partial white and partial black where just black. They ask how they new they where black when you couldn't even tell and the people just said they new. People going to the trial where very racist for know reason. They just followed others.
I am really enjoying the book right now I love History. I am going to read ahead this weekend because i am going the ST.LOUIS so I will have a car ride to read.

Hey that is a really good idea about dressing up as characters from mockingbird. You should suggest that to Mrs. James! We could have a dress up party and of course that would mean food too!

I would love to have been a southern Bell! I think it would have been fun!! to wear the big dresses, and the cool hats, but I think it would get very hot!!
That would be so much fun to dress up as a sothern belle for class!!I wonder what scout would look like as a southern belle but then again she probably wouldn't want to dress up as one.
I think that I would be fun, too. But I do not know where I would find a big dress and a matching hat.
