When I was a child I was carefree, and didn't really pay attention of adults or their actions, but I do know one thing: I was really intimidated of them.
I never realized that adults never took children seriously until, they did start taking me seriously, when I was in Middle School. I think its sad that adults deprive us of our knowledge, just because we haven't lived a decade or two. Children are filled with just as much knowledge, and not as much hatred and personal feelings. This makes their intentions pure and not harmful. I ask of you all to never ignore a child, because they may have the answers, just as Scout did. Even though what she did did not seem logical, it worked for the better.

I agree adults should take children more seriously. Children have just as many rights to know what is going on in the world than adults do. Chirldren are as smart as adults. I think as they grow up they do not grow any more knowledge because they become less and less open minded. When they do not have an open mind they cannot experiance all of the knowledge in the world. I believe children do have a lot of the answers to our problems.
Wow that was a touching post! You are right children do have pure minds and pure intentions most of the time. If we listened to them the world would be alot more peaceful! I think it would be cool if we had like a day for young kids to teach older people something that would be really cool!

I totally agree. I think that kids even know more about some things then adults. They don't care though. I think that they think about things so different then us, that they think what we know doesn't matter. As we continue growing up maybe we will get them to listen even more.
I agree with what you are saying. It is sad when an adult doesn't listen to a kid because they think they don't know what they are talking about. Sometimes this is true, but a lot of times they do when it comes to something that has happened. Children are just as important as adults when it comes to what they have to say. I was the exact same way when I was a kid. I was really shy around adults. I still am!!!

I completely agree with you. I think adults underestimate childrens' knowledge. They should listen to what they have to say because maybe what they are telling you will be very important someday!

Wow! Well said! I totally agree with what you said! When I was younger, I also felt like people didn't take me seriously because they thought I was dumb and didn't know anything. Children are very smart, and because they aren't too personal, like you said, they are honest in what they say and don't care what other people think of what they say.
Yeah when I was little adults never took me as seriously as they do now. I had a lot of good advice and ideas. Oh well their loss. While they controlled the world I was having great ideas and they were missing out. Though I guess I will try to listen to my kids more when I am older even if they don't seem logical. Hey at least my kids won't be deprived of their knowledge. You should give children as much knowledge as possible because kids are the future. I mean you don't look at a 8 year-old and think wow that kid will be a future CEO of a multi-million dollar business or that kid will be giving me a hip replacement when I am older but that is what they will doing and we should give them all the knowledge we can.
I agree too im sure people didnt take me seriously when i was a kid, and im sure they thought my imagination was whack! but i love your font and your post in general!!! :]]
