I have always wondered if Romeo and Juliet was a true story or if Shakespeare complete made it up in his imagination. I found the answer at this link. (It is at the bottom of the page.) Romeo and Juliet is a true story. There were such families by the names of Capulet and Montague, and there were two forbidden lovers from these families who died for each other.
