Does anyone else think that the movie ruins the story? It changes Shakespeare's work into something totally different. The director even switches the script around, I'm sure Shakespeare would be horrified by the changes. Oh well, at least I know what's going on in the movie.

I don't think shakespear would like it, but its really helping understand more. Without the movie and No Fear Shakespear I would have no clue whats going on.
I am sure that Shakespeare would absolutely hate the movie but at the same time i have to say that i really like the movie because it is about 10x more interesting than the play haha.
i agree with you completely the movie really does ruin the story.i wish it was dated back in the shakespearian time not in present time.
Yea I don't think that Shakespeare would appreciate the movies especially the modern day one. It kind of butchers Shakespeare's whole idea of the play. I do agree with superwomen however, because I think the movie is helping me understand more.

I think Shkesphere would think this is horrible. I mean it is almost making fun of a very sad story. I bunch of rich white kids playing with and talking like shakesphere makes it seem pretty dumb. Though i do under stand it better.
