When I was reading the first part of act one
I was very surprised by how much the two
families hated each other. For example, when
Sampson clams that he will cut off the heads of
the Montague's maids. That is an example of
how serious the situation was. I was surprised
that any one would go that far no matter the
problem or the rivalry. I enjoyed the first part of
the play and cannot wait to read on.

ya they are so cutthroat with each other that it is unbelievable. It really goes to show you the true loyalty for one's family back in those days.
